Seputeh MP Teresa Kok is stuck at the Sandakan airport after being barred from entering Sabah. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, February 4, 2015.Seputeh MP Teresa Kok landed in the Sandakan airport this afternoon but was barred entry into Malaysia's easternmost state of Sabah by immigration officials.The DAP leader is still at the immigration check point, according to her party colleague Zairil Khir Johari.Zairil, the Bukit Bendera MP, told The Malaysian Insider that Kok had informed him about her situation over WhatsApp.He said it happened at 3.05pm, when Kok arrived at the airport in Sandakan and was prevented from clearing immigration.Zairil said the Sandakan MP, Stephen Wong, was at the airport to receive Kok but has not been allowed to meet her.It is not clear what Kok is in Sabah for, and The Malaysian Insider is still attempting to reach Kok for her comments. – February 4, 2015.
